If that was Bruce we would all be fuming, Mon has got it wrong and I don't care if it's the first game or the last that was not good enough.

Team selection was poor and so was the performance, for the last five weeks players and manager alike have been saying we will do everything we can to finish the season strongly, what a bunch of bullshit.

Mon supposed to be a great motivator of men but we've not seen a decent performance since the Man City game.

Major changes needed in the summer.

Think the club as a whole have binned it mate to be fair, they all deserve to take some of the blame for a very poor performance.

I will give MON the benefit of the doubt that he is trying things out and planning for next season, but I will not be so forgiving if we do this next season. We were looking good for 7th or 8th at one stage and now were going to be lucky to get 11th.

I can't wait for this utterly crap season to come to an end to be honest. Never thought we'd get anything today, there are too many players who know they won't be at the club next year, or simply can't be arsed. I'm not ready to lay the blame fully at O'Neill's door yet, but I worry that he has no plan B for when we go behind. I very much doubt we'll have much to spend in the summer, hopefully Liverpool will come in with an obscene offer for Elmo...

Typical Sunderland supporters always whining when we don't win. Nothing has changed in all the years I have followed this club. I am old enough to remember the pain from the first relegation at the end of the fiftiies

Sorry mate, I'll just pretend everythings fine and dandy then shall I?

Like Stu says, most of us pay good money to follow this team and just because it's near the end of the season we have been forced to watch **** from players who earn more in one week then most of us do in a year.

If I can't moan about football what can I moan about?

I repeat, my season ticket is paid for next year, there is no facility for a refund if we are safe with a few games to go so I decide not to turn up.

Try life . I had a stroke about 7 years ago so even a trip to Sol is a long journey for me so I don't get as often as I like and an away trip is no longer possible

I'm sorry to here that, but I'm not turning this into anything personal, my point to you is we as fans have a right to voice our opinions when the players and managers are not pulling their weight and should not be told to stop 'whining'.

(Without reading the rest of the posts)

But thats just it, theres been nothing to play for really apart from the FA cup, with a squad that has fundamental shortcomings. I'd rather be thankful for the impact the new manager has had this season.

Over the Mon, I've calmed down a bit now and trust me I am thankful for what Mon has done and I 100% still think he is the right man to lead us forward, just very disappointed that after he set the bar so high our season has slumped so low, we haven't won in 8 are something now? Whether there is nothing to play for or not that is a **** run.

I can't believe some people are already starting to whisper about Martin O'Neil, it really does show how pathetic and uneducated on football some of our supporters really are. PATHETIC!
