Some people don't seem to have heard the news from a few months ago, the FA rejected Allam's wishes and they govern the sport here. Live with it and accept it, unlike the poor loser that Allam is. You don't have to make excuses for his threats or put up with his constantly shifting postions. Don't worry, Hull City will exist with or without him.

Thank you for the necessary thread.

I'm not keen of forum police but couldn't this have been put in every single other thread out there on this subject.

Actually, I think this is the most important thread of them all, it's the fundamental point that most people seem to be missing.

And if the FA reverse their decision on appeal, will you accept that?

I'm not even convinced they're going to accept an appeal, never mind rule on it.

    I agree.

But, if they do, will you accept their decision?

Even if they do accept an appeal, the panel can't reverse the decision of the FA council, it can only make the process start all over again.

Obviously, if that was the case, then the name change campaign group would have to start campaigning again, but it's not going to happen, the idea is dead, it's just awaiting a decent burial.

It doesn't deserve a decent burial. It deserves pissing on and scorn. It deserves being torn out the history books, used as bog roll and burned on Allams doorstep with a chimney funnelling the pooey smoke through his letterbox.

The idea had less legs than a snake and now it has less life force than Saddam Hussein.

Ok, then you can hardly be surprised if Allam doesn't accept their original ruling. Or is it ok for you to protest but nobody else?

I have been say this, I cannot understand now why fans are getting at each other. CTWD as well as East Riding FA and Hull City OSC all put submissions into the FA, the FA ruled that they did not allow the name change. This is no longer anything to do with CTWD so why single them out for abuse, it is the FA who made the decision. The decision has been made let's get on supporting the team and stop this bitterness.

It's okay for anyone to protest, it's just not okay for people to boo.

Also.....boooing a song that fans have sung long before AA ever came in is dumb

Even my dad has sung that song and he has been dead 5 years

This could have all being avoided with a simple yes or no vote months ago but AA knows no one wants his bloody name change .

Its dead .....it's not wanted.....it's not going to happen ....

They only booed at 19:04. They were not booing the song, they were booing the organised protest even after Steve Bruce had asked people not to. People at a football match have always booed things they don't like or agree with. Fouls, Red Cards, certain players, referees, and chants they don't like. I suspect we will have to get used to it.

I am not sure at all that Steve Bruce was asking fans not to sing "City Til I Die". It seems pretty clear he was referring to not wanting other forms of protest such as banners and so on.

There's no reason why he would give a toss about a song being sung, just as Ehab has already confirmed he doesn't either.

That's not true, City Till I Die was booed at the very start of the game.

Any links to where Steve Bruce asked for City Til .i Die not to be sung at 19.04?
He did ask for the fans to get behind the team. Which those singing at 19.04 did from the kick off. Unlike those whose only vocal contribution was to boo. If the whole ground was like those who booed we could approach The Noise Abatement Society to sponsor Hull Tigers.
