From what I have seen this season we should be able to gather the necessary points starting this Saturday to consolidate our position and maybe even push for a play off spot despite our disputed but probable 10 points deduction at some stage during the season. I can also see the derby's returning next season if we can really get going this season and turn good performances into points, as the Scummers are in real trouble already! Man Utd next and then Arsenal away they should be rock bottom in 2 weeks time. Incidently, Walcott and or Oxlade-Chamberlain are bound to score for Arsenal against them! PUP
I think there's more probability of them going down than us going up. At the moment we should concentrate on STAYING up. Remember the players we've got are all on 1 month contracts. What's going to happen then? The transfer window closes on Friday night and, with no prospect of the ownership/CVA/Admin issue being sorted by then, we could be back to the kids that were out of their depth at Plymouth in the not too distant future. Scores on the doors is what we need to at least have some-thing to build on - starting with 3 points against Oldham this week-end.
Who was the thread on the Utd board about then think you are right dev, the big problem is you don't know what squad you will have in a month. The good news is that if you can keep most of the players you currently have until January, you should pick up a few points.
