I saw in another thread (couldn't find the right one so started a new onoe sorry) that the Pompey administrator was going to court this week and make his recommendations about the future of the club. Is that happening today?
Who cares? I have totally lost interest in our impoverished neighbours and their disgraceful behaviour. I remind you all that right from the start of this season I said Reading and Brighton were our rivals now. A top club like us needs quality rivals. Saying Pompey are our rivals is a bit like saying Waitrose's rival is that bloke who sells rotten fruit on Kingsland market. Pompey will shortly be assigned to history and then forgotten about completely in a couple of years. Their name might appear in an advert for milk in about 2035 when everyone will say "Oh golly I remember them. Weren't they that really dodgy lot who used to play football on the Isle of Wight or some other island somewhere. I was always amused when I heard they played on an island as I have always associated Islands with Pirates. One shouldn't be too surprised at that because Pirates were crooks as well. If I remember correctly Pompey never amounted to much as it seemed they were always owned by gangsters and everyone was after them for the money they were owed. They used to have a chant that if I remember was called Pompey Crimes or something like that".
Friday be the day for paarlee, you scurvy swabs! We'll take the plunder and hide it on a plantation, in the Spanish main. Caymen find it if you can (Sorry)
Have you changed your tag line from PUP to PUN? Nice one, and I hope you can find something to laugh about come Friday.
I see Skates boss Michael Appleton says he is hopeful of signing two loan strikers before the weekend. How can they be allowed to do this?
A transfer embargo means 'no signings at all'. One for all clubs and another for Pompey. Use your youth players like everyone else has had to!
I highly doubt it. Theoretically you should be correct. But they e got away with rule after rule for so long that they'll survive...
The parent club have to pay ALL the loaned players wages. And as one of the above posts says one in one out.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table Who would have predicted that at the start of the season, look now it will change later!
Try http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm Haven't tried to see if it functions.
Birch will do what he sees fit . If someone is prepared to put money in to see them to even the end of the season , he will not reccommend liquidation , how can he ?
Birch is a true administrator, that Andrew 'celeb' Andronkeyism was a proper little go forth for the unscrupulous characters.
