The BBC are reporting that Pompey supporters group SOS Pompey are resigned to liquidation. If that happens what happens to their place in league 1? One would assume Wycombe are saved from the drop and put back into league 1 and then we have a gap in our league? Are Hereford rescued?
i doubt they would make changes to the leagues now as the fixtures have already been sorted etc plus budgets. i would expect one less team would go down this season from league one or something similar, hopefully one more team promoted from league 2!! all in all tho its a shame, i went to uni in pompy and always look out for their results etc so its sad that they may cease to exist in the very near future!
Still think McLeod will go league 1, as much as I would be happy to have him I think we have a decent strike force and goals in our midfield and I would rather spend that money on defenders!
