Torquay United's preparations for this afternoon's League Two clash at Portsmouth were rocked by a flood at the hotel where they were staying last night. The players and coaching staff awoke to a partially collapsed roof and water seeping through the building at 2am. After spending three hours wandering around the lobby in their pyjamas, the party were eventually relocated to a different hotel at 5am. The Torquay players may be a bit tired when they kick off.......

Torquay do seem to be more "up for it" than Pompey. RB needs to talk to the players sternly at half time - this is a match we must win !
For some years we have only played 45 minutes - I did think that maybe the coaching staff were the common denominator at fault...... but they have all gone now and replaced by Barker's own team. And yet still we only play 45 minutes. (I hope we're going to play for the second half).
The opposition are ALWAYS more up for it than Pompey. Play the Ladies team, at least they'd actually be up for it for 90 minutes!
The second half could be the 45 minutes we are waiting for, 3rd eye Could we recall David Connolly, and fly him down from Oxford for the last 15 minutes ? After all, he is only on their bench today. Just a thought.......
