I really think Jed Wallace is one of the best players we've got - young, so can make mistakes, but him and Whatmough are definitely our 2 best. Was nearly down again but the ball hit the inside post - Jones was beaten.
Agree Jed and Jack are tremendous young prospects. Add to them Dan Butler, Ben Close & Nick Awford, and the future does look bright, as long as we can hang on to them when the "vultures" come a calling.
I do like Dan Butler - he put me in mind of Jason Pearce when I saw him last season. Crowd sounding happy and confidence is shooting up in the team now.
Wish Westcarr would score though - he really is a disapointment this season. Would much rather see either Ryan Taylor or Big Pat up front for the last 20 minutes. We need more goals.
Devera has redeemed himself. Just as long as the players don't switch off and let Stevenage get another.
