SFC fan in peace. Only now I can honestly say this has got to be one of the biggest games in either of the clubs history for years. Given where both teams sit in the table and also off the field. If we look at it that way then I would say Saints are the likely winners. However I disagree... I honestly don't think Saints will win on at Fratton Park. I think Portsmouth will start to come together (the players too) just for this game. By the time of te game PFC would know their fate regarding points deduction and the team will have an understanding as I am sure Appleton will soon bring something to the table. Away form seems to be our problem and at a game hitch will be a sell out and on tv, I don't rate out chances at this time. Whatever happens it is looking to be a cracker! Can't wait! All the best!
It's going to be my first derby game, and I can't wait!!! As for the result... I am constantly flip flopping at the moment. Sometimes I agree with what you say RLGB, and think that we may be up for this game and grab the win. Other times I look on it with less optimism, and think we will be absolutely embarressed by Saints. Just a quick point though: The football league confirmed yesterday there will be no points deduction
