Good match, and atmosphere. We wanted the win more than them. Comic goal following a terrible mistake by Argyle keeper Matthews on the edge of his area, with Kal Naismith taking the ball off of him and sliding it into the net.

It was almost in slow motion, as the ball rolled into the net in front of Argyle's poor fans.

Conor Chaplin linked up well with Naismith in attack, and sent a superb shot on goal in the first half, which Matthews did well to tip over the bar.

Man of the match was named as Danny Rose, although there were a few others who deserve mention, such as young left back Brandon Haunstrup who had a great game, as well as Ollie Hawkins who was excellent at centre back untill limping off with a leg injury.

Right near the end, Kal Naismith was put through on goal, their keeper came out to block him, and Kal chipped the ball past him hitting the inside of a post, before they collided. Kal limped off and was substituted, but their keeper continued despite himself limping, probably due to the fact that their substitute keeper looked around 12 years of age.

7th in the table now, with 29 points. Good day at the office :emoticon-0148-yes:

As you say Woopert's. a good day. My, how the injuries are accumulating!!! I was just seeking your thoughts. There's an ominous 5 point game between the team in 6th and PFC in 7th. Does this indicate that those 6 are slightly better than the rest, or could a team such as PFC or someone else get into the top 6?

It appears to be quite an open league this season Ides, where lower placed teams seem quite capable of beating teams at the top of the table.

    I've seen the goal............................(eeeeekkkkkkk!!!!!!)

Your comment above about our keeper looking 12 Wooperts is closer to the truth than you think. We have 4 keepers on the injured list at the minute and the one on the bench is the youth keeper apparently. If Matthews is injured, and he was limping at the end on Tuesday then he will be the fifth keeper this season. I really think our keepers are cursed for some reason. I have never known so many casualties in all of my years supporting the Greens. We have an emergency signing which is Matthews. If he can't play then he would have to go back to Norwich and we would have to find another one from somewhere else. If you were a Manager being asked if we could borrow one of your reserve keepers would you let one come here? If you were the said keeper would you be hiding away hoping nobody notices you.

    Anyway, congrats on the spoils.

Attendance today was 17,923. Argyle failed to sell all of their ticket allocation in the Milton End.

Really great atmosphere today and although we made heavy weather of the last 15 the result was fair. Agree with you Woops that a lot of the players put in good performances... I thought Haunstrop looked very assured and with injuries stacking up it was great to see the squad come into its own. I like Rose and Close in the middle and Lowe gets better with every game. The goal was a howler for the keeper but he also pulled out an excellent save later in the game. Wish we had got a second though.
