    MOM was Dan Butler.

Ovation for magic Bean on his debut.

Storey seems to have found his right position now, he had the assists.

Can't wait for the match summaries from those who were there. Sounds like it was a good match today.

Wow ! What a difference a few days make.

Thoroughly deserved the win against (it must be said) an average Morecambe side. Miles Storey had an excellent game on the left wing, showing terrific pace and ball control. His cross for Jed Wallace's headed first goal was superb.

Dan Butler must keep his place in the side at left back (sorry Nicky Shorey, but your time is up !).

Could have scored another 3 or 4 goals - Ryan Taylor missed a couple of "sitters", one when he was completely through on the keeper, and he shot straight at him. My old Mum (God Bless her) would have scored that one.

The two new boys - Matt Fish & Marcus Bean - both played o.k., with Fish a vast improvement on Alex Wynter at right back.

Away to Tranmere next, a game we must win to keep close to the play-off zone.

Good atmosphere, with the fans completely behind the team.

Delighted for you guys after a horrible, horrible few weeks and a sad exit from the FA Cup. Happy for Andy Awford as well. The palyers must have wanted it badly today. Let's hope they can keep the momentum going and get into the paly-oof places and stay there. If any kind of momentum does develop from this result then who knows what the outrcome could be. It is all about developing a momentum and keeping it going. Is there really one stand out team in the division team in the division at the moment or is it a collective of reasonable teams and the ones with the consistency will win through in the end. Come on Pompey 15 wins and a few draws from the remaining matches should see you throught to at least the play-off, maybe even automatic promotion.

Wow, Farnborough win at home, Pompey win and a good day at Comic Con. Could this perhaps have been a good day?

The more I see Jed's headed goal, the more I realise what a great move it was.

For a right footed player, Miles Storey played very well down the left flank.
