Sorry I don't have time for the usual stats this week, so straight to the point. How do you think we will do? How big will the attendance be? How many fans will the monkey hangers bring? For those of you going to the game; are you looking forward to a good day or are you apprehensive and nervous?
How do you think we will do? 2-1 How big will the attendance be? 16,200 How many fans will the monkey hangers bring? 250 For those of you going to the game; are you looking forward to a good day or are you apprehensive and nervous? Oh, Yes ! Impressed with Awfs, you feel a bit safer with him in control
Now that we have Awford, I want to go to a home game before the end of the season. There's like only two more left after this one isn't there?
This is a winnable game for us. Hartlepool havent won in the last three games and have only won twice this month. If we can keep up the momentum from the win against Newport then we could pick up all three points here.
1-0 it is. Could have been 3 but we are up the table a bit. Torquay look relegated now, so it looks as though one of about 8 teams could fill the other spot.
I said it was winnable, though it would have been a bit more relaxing if Taylor had scored the penalty, nevertheless we move closer to safety. It's been a good day. Now I'm off to see what the Cinema Snob thought of the Winter Soldier.

Good win, despite the Hartlepool keeper saving Ryan Taylor's penalty. Could have been 2-0 up after only 3 minutes. Very impressed with both Jack Watmough and Adam Webster in defence. Jack was a worthy choice for MOTM, and what an inspired decision by Awfs to recall Adam from his loan period at Aldershot. He was brilliant at right back. Good to see Simon Ferry back from injury. He linked up well with Danny Hollands in midfield. All in all, a good day for PFC and their long suffering fans.
A really good result and a great atmosphere generated at FP today. Noisy and supportive. No real complaints - everyone worked their socks off and the difference in performance and effort from what was being seen under RB was really noticeable. We played some very good football at times and looked a threat. Thought Jack W was outstanding at the back, calm in posession and won every header he went up for. A classy performance from a young lad. Hard to single out players really as they all played their part. Carson made a very smart save at a key point in the game. Fogden was all over the pitch - what an engine that guy has. I also thought that Taylor despite the pen miss was excellent playing as a lone striker...he held the ball up well and showed a great work ethic. Feeling far more positive on the back of two good wins as it's 5 more points than I was expecting pre AA....that said we are not safe yet so more of the same and we'll get there. PUP
Sorry to let you down Pie. I'll ring our manager Monday, and tick him off for ruining your weekend. Still, at least your team had a good result today..........oops..........just seen the score......
Your "cutting" remark fails on two counts: 1) I knew we were going to get twatted. 2) We're all much more concerned by the injury to Rodriguez than the result. TTFN. Pie.
