McLeod on the bench today amidst rumours that he's on his way out.

Mendez-Laing gets the ball into the net but he's judged off-side. So it's still 1-1

    Gyepes off with hamstring problem.

That could be the end of his potential move then.

Or just not good enough! Pompey´s present predicament is very similar to the situation in the 70s. The expectation levels were quite high going into some matches. I remember see Pompey wallop Rotherham 5-0, so the expectation was high with Pompey attracting a fairly biggish crowd for the next game, 15,000 plus for a then 3rd division match. Result - a 3-0 loss to Tranmere. As for having the luck of the damned it has been ever present since I first followed Pompey in the 60s. As you may know I have long since given up the ghost of supporting PFC! It is like hankering after a girl long after she has dumped you! Get over it and move on!! I feel Pompey fans have been dumped on many times.

Julius Ceaser was assassinated in "The theatre of Pompey"

We didn't just sack mangers in those days, (the Visigoths were fond of a sack or two) we stabbed them up as well.

After all that I conclude, that "The Ides of March" is a Roma fan.

Should really go for Schalke? They play in blue!! Or River Plate who don´t? Actually the team is closer to home, not that I am fanatical in any way!! It is just good to see a Hampshire club do well. I´ll include Bournemouth in this equation as it was a Hampshire town. I used to be one of those who would see Pompey one week and Saints the next when home from school and have the odd visit to Dean Court!!

I must admit any foreign team who play in blue get my vote.
Here are some of my favourites.

Cruzeiro of Brasil, Appeldoorn of Holland and Bastia which, as it's plastered in adverts, can only be French.
