Pompey's run of four home games in the space of a fortnight ends with a visit from high-flying Burnley on Saturday (3pm kick-off). John Mousinho's men will be looking to get things back on track after their fine run of Fratton form ended with a narrow defeat to Millwall earlier in the week. Their opponents are sitting third in the Championship standings and just three points behind leaders Leeds with 17 games left to play. Those two sides faced off at Turf Moor on Monday night, cancelling each other out in a soporific goalless stalemate. The Clarets are looking for an immediate response to their relegation from the top-flight last season, when they finished eight points clear of safety. Under the guidance of Scott Parker, they have become an almost impregnable force – conceding just nine league goals so far. They will arrive on the south coast on the back fo seven successive Championship clean sheets and having not tasted defeat since losing at Millwall at the start of November. A financially-stricken Pompey were thrashed 5-1 when the sides last met at Fratton Park for a second tier contest in March 2012. But it was a closer contest up at Turf Moor earlier in the current campaign, with a last-gasp goal sealing the points for Burnley after Callum Lang's opener had been cancelled out by Jeremy Sarmiento. TEAM NEWS Ibane Bowat (knee), Jacob Farrell (knee), Paddy Lane (knee), Mark O'Mahony (hip), Regan Poole (hamstring), Jordan Williams (hamstring) and Kusini Yengi (knee) are all currently sidelined. Rob Atkinson is available after recovering from illness, while John Mousinho has indicated that Conor Shaughnessy is not yet ready to start a game after coming off the bench against Millwall. Enock Agyei (leg), Manuel Benson (calf), Jordan Beyer (knee), Aaron Ramsey (knee) and Nathan Redmond (calf) are all expected to miss out for the visitors.
