We played well enough, against a very useful side, but just couldn't find the killer touch. Kyle Bennett missed at least three clear cut chances, and really should have scored from two of them. Time to drop him and bring in say Kal Naismith to play behind either Brett Pitman or Ollie Hawkins.
Bradford scored from their only real chance in the game, a well taken header from a free kick. Jamal Lowe was my man of the match.

    Big crowd of 18,067.

I noticed that!! 18,000 plus. Why drop Hawkins to the bench when he scored a brace the last time Pompey won? I just don't understand managers at times. Let Pitman earn the right to play by bringing him on from the subs bench and to nuture him back to full fitness.

Looking at that gate, there is precious little room to expand revenues until Fratton Park is fully revamped. Look at Ashton Gate, an old decripit stadium a few years ago, now the pride of many a club. I believe, evn in League 1, gates would go up to around 22,000 in a bigger ground.

Won't disagree with any of Woops summary. We actually played really well today and deserved at least a point. Sometimes you don't get what you deserve. I thought Matt Clarke was my MoM but Jamal did play very well. Our set piece delivery was poor today though.

Sounds like a reasonable performance but for one defensive mistake and poor finishing on occasions. But three losses on the trot begins to look like a worry.

Better video than the first one - highlights the great chances that Kyle Bennett spurned
