http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/posh-come-to-fratton-in-cup-opener-1-6124679 Yay, lucky us! Thankfully, Bournemouth are in the Championship so we couldn't be drawn them yet again (expect them in the 2nd round if we get through though!) As for this draw, pretty tough one but at least we're at home. I think it's potentially a win-win situation for us. Either we lose (as long as it's not a hammering) and it's like "Oh well, they're a upper table League 1 side, no shame in that" or we win and that'll give us great confidence and belief going into the League 2 season. It'd be nice to go on a cup run, but I'd prefer it to be in the FA Cup if any cup, as it'll have been over 4 and a half years since our last FA cup win when the first round comes about.
Anyone but Bournemouth! I wouldn't mind one of the more interesting championship sides, either at home or some of the local ones away. So Reading away would be good. Or Leeds at home, Ispwich so I could have some banter with one my friends, Fulham home or away would be good. Derby, Notts Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton.... one of those sides! Also, as I'll hopefully be in Bham then, maybe one of the local Bham sides away. Birmingham City, Walsall, Wolves, etc
Actually, looking at the dates, I'm not due to be in Bham then so scratch that. So basically one of the interesting championship sides, or a local (to Hampshire) team away.
I think that's a decent fixture for you guys. Given a bit of luck and excellent preparation, then yes, I can see you getting a result against Victoria. I'm guessing 2-1 I think she couldn't be too upset with that, although If she didn't wear heels, she might even get a draw.
I got it Meowth. Peeps can be a tad slow-I mean, no comeback to my little gag either. Pearls before swine, mate, pearls before swine.....
She doesn't frighten me lamba. Anyway, she doesn't know where I live...........<typed whilst looking over my shoulder>
