Since SC left Fratton Park for the City Ground, both Pompey and Forest have had two wins and one defeat. With only one point separating the two sides, who do you think will ultimately finish higher in the league this season?
Probably Forest, unless the promised spend in January takes place. Cotts is probably seen by the trees board, as someone who will move the club onto a level footing, then they will want to get somone high profile in, who can move them on to the Premiership.
He won't do anything earth-shattering with Forest. He'll take them so far, but no further. Probably top 10.
Interesting that the two clubs fate might be linked if SC comes in for some of your players in January, although the noises coming out indicate that morale is better since he left, maybe nobody will want to follow?
At this stage Barefoot I think its just that rumours. I can see us finishing half way but no higher. And to be honest if you had offered that to me three weeks ago I would have snapped your hand off!
