Would you take any of them? Pearce and Halford already spoken for apparently. Allen back to WBA. Any others worth a look?

Nope, but I hope they get money & not magic beans for them. Can they not just linger in L1 without the fear of closure, please.

There is no one that will improve our side so no. Pearce is off to Leeds - good signing for them.

Think we need to be looking a bit higher than a relegated Championship side for new signings to be honest.

Hopefully the higher earners will go to Championship sides for a reasonable fee. I just hope the person overseeing the sales remembers to include a sell on fee!
It's inevitable that most of the first XI will go. The Apple will hopefully start the project of rebuilding from (almost) scratch and we will avoid the fate that befell Plymouth when they were relegated from the Championship in 2010 and from League One in 2011

Once all the high earners have gone, then the club might be able to get closer to breaking even at an operational level. The problem is the debt, which will need another CVA. If that can be agreed then maybe there is someone waiting in the wings. Good luck, anyway.

Tbh I think it'll everyone bar the kids and Ben Haim will be sold. Who else would pay him 35k a week.

i'd give Ben Haim £50 of my own money a week, if he refused all clubs (if any) go in for him. <whistle>

Never understood why Lawrence went to Pompey. I always thought he was a sound premier league player. Having said that he is not the kind of right winger we need. We need a pacy one like Matt Phillips

The problem is that every club who comes in for your players will just off you jack **** and know you have to accept it. Once you start playing with the deal they'll just leave and you're stuck with players who are continuing to consume the club's already drained resources.

They have no income now and are faced with getting players off the books to keep going...no one will give you top dollar under those conditions. Happened to us.

Pompey's team next year will largely consist of youngsters out on load from Premier League clubs. DOn't think it will present too much of a problem for them at that level and as long as they keep Appleton and don't suffer another points deduction, they could fair ok. Liked the look of Chris McGuire when Pompey came to St Mary's but Saints will need to set their standards much higher now we are in the top flight.

What's the betting that Appleton will either get a crack at the Wolves job or come in to WBA to replace Hodgson? (Maybe a bit too early for Premiership but a potential talent at Championship???)
