You would honestly think they won the champions league yesterday the way they’re going on. They beat an average league one side, but because they have been down in the lower leagues for so long we are like Barcelona to them. They’ve all wanted Jackett out for months, and now they’ve beaten us I’ve seen comments requesting he gets a contract extension. Weird as **** man haha.

On the other side of the fence some of our fans are now calling for the manager to be sacked after one defeat.. it is a crazy world that we live in these days.

Two modest teams, two modest managers.

Neither manager would be missed, neither team will dominate this league, though Portsmouth are more likely to finish top two as they have greater goalscoring power than we have, along with it appears, most of the division.

Can’t believe we’ve been in this tin pot league for 3 seasons and still haven’t got a person who can put the ball in the net. We are no better off than we were last season, it’s pathetic.

Genuinely appalling. Especially when we recruited a manager who has spent most of his time in this league and lower and who would be assumed to have known a forward or two who would have been an imrovement even if we hadn't heard of them .

But nothing. No imagination, nothing, and that will ensure we stay where we are IMO.

I'll never have a go at a player that puts on the red and white shirt. During my time supporting the lads, 3 things have more often than not bar a few exceptions, been a fixture until about 5 years ago.

    1. Decent Goalkeeper.
    2. Striker that knows where the net is
    3. A manager with something about them, bit charisma, character.

Unfortunately that is no more. We have always needed to plod on to try and get out or this leauge. But due to salary cap and unfortunately players that "want to be here",but quite frankly aren't really up to it (countless miss opportunities to go top etc) we are where we are.

Tbf, it’s not just one game. It’s the **** turgid football, his **** system and his record previous to this season. I’m hoping that if this takeover miraculously goes through, we will bin him.

He inherited a poor squad and has had little or no money to spend.. Not sure what you actually expect of him..

That's true, give Parky fast, quality players and they'll start every game. Is it his fault he doesn't have them? Don't think so.

People remember the premier league days with the likes of Defoe and M'Vila like it was yesterday and I think it makes it hard for them to accept that currently we are a league one team with league one players and a league one manager.

We're probably better off with a safe but steady manager, someone more experimental might struggle. If the takeover goes through then by all means get Pochettino on board but until then we should be realistic.

We've been playing a style which has been creating chances, if we'd converted a reasonable ratio no one would be complaining so other than yesterday the only real gripe is a failure of the strikers not the style of football and we'll never know who we tried to get or how much he was allowed to spend.

Excuses excuses, bad squad, no money. It’s not a bad league 1 squad at all.

His system and tactics are pathetic. A better manager would win this league at a canter. Paul Cook would be a fantastic choice for us.

I bet you said exactly the same about our last manager who is now doing quite well at a higher level.

At least he took maximum points against Rochdale every time. Tonight was disgusting.

75 mins it took Parkinson to make a sub tonight, he took off a forward for a defensive midfielder.
O’Brien and Grigg sitting there and he is **** scared to go for it.

He’s a Coward, he needs to go.
