Pompey have been dealt a double selection blow ahead of Chesterfield.

Both Daniel Alfei and Michael Drennan will be absent from the televised clash with the League Two leaders at the Proact Stadium on Monday night.

Alfei has been called up for the Wales under-21 squad who play England next week, with Drennan told he must report for duty with the Republic of Ireland under-21 set-up.

We could do with Danny East being fit to come in at right back. Presumably, Big Pat can come in up front, unless Ryan Taylor is announced fit to return to the side.

Chance for some-one else to shine - hopefully not in a Scunny-style drubbing!
