Goals from Marco Futacs and Greg Halford.

Spanish trialist - Fernando Vega(ex Real Betis) playing at left back, and currently out of contract.

"Meowth here. This match was a charity event to support the Ice Hockey team, killed in a tragic air crash, and those families they left behind, so PLEASE everyone, respect is needed."

More importantly, this was about raising money for the families of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team who were killed in a recent air crash.<peacedove>

    My comment was removed!?

Had I known it was a charity match I wouldn't have posted.

    Apologies <ok>

I'm a big NHL fan and I was very surprised to hear that Portsmouth were holding a tribute for the Yaroslavl team. However I am very proud that they did and it was great to see some support out there for the Yaroslavl team's families.

  5. Well done PFC on supporting a worthwhile cause. I'm guessing the CSI guys with their Russian links got this organised?

All credit to PFC - a very fine gesture & well done all those who supported this event.
I know Russia has changed a lot but I suspect that there will not be any huge insurance payouts to the bereaved families.

My original post was only light-hearted banter, but I'm glad the comment was removed as I am a respecting person <ok>
