Great result last night . I wouldnt say we are safe just as yet but not far from it . Just goes to show what a difference it makes when the back four are solid . Hope our great manager keeps the team in high spirits so that he can reap the rewards of the hard work he has put in during yet another turbulent season . Hope he stays with us cos I feel that once he builds his own team from pre season , Pompey are gonna be great to watch next season barring a disaster this season . PUP
With more six-pointers coming up, these nine points from three games are a Godsend. Having the points on the board and a team in good spirits could prove to be the catalyst that our season needed. I hope we can all keep our feet on the ground though. I remember [on 606] back in October, when we were on a great run, a lot of people were talking up promotion and then started having a pop at Steve Cotterill and the boys when the points started to dry up. Safety and mid table will still be a great season as far as I'm concerned, when you consider the state we were in this time last year.
