Interested to know what people feel about getting Simpson back (probably bullshit and won't happen anyway). Aside from, in my view, being a very limited player, he was convicted two months ago of assaulting his girlfriend. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ified-ex-girlfriend-floor-throttling-her.html Football to one side, I'd would hate to see him anywhere near us again, but am wondering what the rest of us think. Hence poll.
Violence of any sort especially toward a woman is totally unacceptable in my book and he was convicted so a massive no thanks from me!
Off pitch issues aside, it would be a backward step. Taking into account his off pitch issues, I wouldn't touch him with a proverbial barge pole!
Not quite the thunderc**t that Barton was but a twat of epic proportions nonetheless. The Championship is about his level. For that reason I went for option 3.
Have no sympathy for the bird. Sounds like she's up for it. He's a kunt and don't care either way so ain't voted
He definitely is good enough, in my opinion. He may not be the best at rushing forwards but he did put in a few crosses and his defending was generally much better than any RB we'd had for a while. Yet I chose the third option because I don't want scum bags at QPR.
Detestable behaviour off the field and minimal ability on it, appreciated his effort but he's probably the worst crosser of a ball i've seen and I don't want that in a full back.
Surprised my the votes cast to date. I thought he did a good job for us and seemed a good sort on the pitch and in the dressing room. Always tried his best. I would be happy to have him back.
Have to agree with Kerry regarding his performances, was really surprised we let him go especially to what was then, a relegation rival. However, his off-field antics are unacceptable regardless of the circumstances. So I vote 3 even though 'scumbag' is not a word I would choose to use. Also I think we should move forward with the youngsters even though I was pleased Mackie returned.
Think he'd do a good job back in Championship, but the man's a total arsehole off the pitch, so option 3 for me
Echo most common view - I'd take him back for football reasons only. But would rather someone who can set an example - voted option 3
For those voting yes I'd be interested to know whether there is any behaviour that would, for you, make it repugnant for a player to join your club, or you just not think it's relevant? Not looking to start a fight, just curious.
Voted 3 He'd do a job in the Championship but after reading he's a wife beater, am not interested. Should have realised when he went out with Tulisa D. Rugdealer
