You've done it again linking things.

1 - You are a lefty. you know you are (or at least think you are.)
2 - there is no "therefore I must be" here. you have decided that link. I put frothing at the mouth due to you going on a tirade berating whoever "you" is
3 I asked the question if you meant me, or all leavers were. You typed "If you are all Britain First! why would you support someone's whose stance is "America First?"

So I asked who you are referring to with "you". And why do you assume that whoever that "you" is supports Trump?

You are accusing me of assuming things when your posts (I would suggest deliberately) are making many more assumptions than I do.

Try reading my post again. You will see I am asking who "you" is. You will also see that I have not even suggested that you are foaming at the mouth "because" you are a leftist.

And your first line was: "Right wing, populist Brexiters who favor Trump just don't make sense to me."
I daresay that using all 4 of those qualifiers (Right, populist, Leave, Trump) you will be left with a small amount of people that are all 4.

Nope. I'm pretty centrist overall as far as left-right for the US. Moderately conservative fiscally, and moderately liberal socially.

Just reading both posts, i think you confused him talking about people who put Britain first with the group called Britain first. My take on it was 'you' mean people who specifically supported Trump's America first policies and would want a similar Britain first policy.

Sounds like Blairite to me!!! And they tell everyone they are lefties and are supported by people who say they are lefties.

EDIT: I take it back because Blairites are very right wing on economics. So you would probably be left of the democrats and similar to the Tories in the UK "fiscally" and probably similar to the Tories and Blairites socially.

Ahh I see what he means. Trump and Britian first has been oft repeated the last few weeks for obvs reasons. I still think he makes far too many assumptions linking several different preferences as if they are all traits of one type of voterbase when they quite clearly aren't.

Trump is a nightmare. Does an interview in Brussels saying 'Brexit is ruined, no trade deal with the USA and Boris for PM, then does a speech at Blenheim Palace talking positive about trade. Why does anyone take notice of him? His word can not be trusted. Talk to the normal Americans and see what they have to say about a trade deal not this idiot. He's not as powerful or knowledgeable as he makes out - thank God! If there is no trade deal the US will also be affected and I thought he was supposed to be putting America First.

Get the Queen to invite him for afternoon tea, flatter his over inflated ego and he'll probably sign a deal over the cucumber sandwiches. <cheers>

Oh no, they exist. Granted they aren’t the majority but there are plenty if them posting silly crap on Internet forums, blogs and even newspapers.

Do you know about QAnon? If not, you know that Mueller is the guy investigating Trump for colluding with Russia? There’s a sizable contingent of Trump supporters who believe that Mueller and Trump are actually secretly on the same
side, working together to expose a vast conspiracy between Illuminati types who have infiltrated governments everywhere to promote ****philia and Satanism.

It’s like those fake “In the know” twitter accounts where people make vague statements and about which players are going to which teams and then later claim those statements were accurate predictions. Yeah like that, only with politicians and global conspiracy theories instead of football players and transfers. There are all sorts of interesting people in this world.

We’re just trying to make you all feel better. You think May or Corbin is bad and your resigning ministers are a clown show? Trump just made May look real good. And two or three cabinet members or senior officials resigning is just another week at the office for Trump. Labour or Tory or whatever party, whoever the opposition is for you, they are nowhere near as bad as Trump. Plus, we didn’t even majpke the World Cul, much less the semifinals.

So things could be worse. You could be us!

You can get rid of Trump in a couple of years - assuming your constitution is strong enough to survive him declaring himself Imperator Donald Augustus.

Our grandchildren will have to live with the consequences of Brexit.
