will they have a guy in a room looking at CCTV saying 'did he scratch his nose there or was that a small salute?'.

 

I do not think PDC would contemplate such an action as it would surely result in the end of his managerial career,rightly so to imho.

 

I would hope not too and don't think he'd be daft enough to do so, I was merely flagging that it's clear the police are being over zealous and would they apply the same same rules if he, or another player were to do it... even in jest? I fear the poor old fan is getting the smelly end of the poo stick once again.

 

I'd say its about right given the scale of the media witch hunt.

the media are focussing on PDC whilst forgetting the EDL and BNP boys who are saying and doing 10x worse stuff elsewhere.

 

Maybe all 50,000 Newcastle fans in the ground should do one - what they gonna do? Issue banning orders to everyone?

 

What I like is that quote Paolo made about Mussolini being a 'principled man' (or words to that effect) in his autobiography. Yet people on the telly are castigating anyone for being critical of Thatcher and that whatever people feel, they should at least respect her for her leadership.

So on that basis, should we respect Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler etc?

Indeed. He took a shambles of an economy with hyperinflation a recent memory... and turned it into a powerhouse in no time at all.

 

He knew how to build a stadium too. None of this lopsided hotch potch greenhouse rubbish.

It could be worse anyway, it could a cheap tin pot affair named after a proper stadium in Portugal.

 

It's not as if it is one of the finest modern stadia in the country. Nor is it as if its history and heritage was lost, just to gain an extra buck.
