This thread is due solely to the amount of alcohol consumed this evening, been drinking cubra libra's for many hours now and am now watching re-runs of Police Squad, the spin-off to the Airplane/Naked Gun movies.

If you love corny/clever humour like me, lets just say that this is the masterclass....!

Altogether now, "Is this some kind of bust"...?! - shame they only ever made 6 episodes, bit like Fawlty Towers (12)....

Not a great fan of yank humour, but I used to enjoy the Police Academy, not Squad, series of films. That scene when Mahony crawled out from under the pedestal, where the commandant had been speaking (whilst receiving 'other' attention) had me crying with laughter so much it hurt!

My family think I'm nuts but Police Academy makes me laugh so much it hurts but it takes all sorts.

Married With Children was my favourite just for Ed O'Neill, although Katy Sagal was also brilliant in it.

But I cannot stand stuff like Friends. Makes me want to puke....!

I used to fancy both the mother and the daughter in that programme (Married with Children)!

Marred With Children was total class. Still funny, even when you know what is coming and that is the mark of quality.

Anyone remember Sledgehammer which was the programme on just before MWC..?

That's like "only fools and horses" watched two Christmas specials on gold last night, I could probably recite the words of each one but I still pissed myself laughing at it.
