How were they given this tournament.???

I hope there is a ref brave enough to call players off the pitch.

it does say 'isolated' then 'substantially more than 2 or 3'.

i think they got it because there hasnt never been a tournament in eastern europe. but the panorama thing over exxagerates the problem for me. i heard on the radio somewhere that if we wanted to portray london as a lawless horrible city it would be easy to knock up some footage of the london riots, then get some celebrity to say 'dont go, you may get killed'.

as for platini saying referees should decide whether games are abandoned. i agree. though i've never been the subject of racism so i wouldnt know how one feels when confronted by it.

also, to play devils advocate, whats the difference between mocking someone for the colour of their skin (from the stands) compared to death threats and other disgusting chanting that other players have to deal with? surely they are equally bad?
