I was playing Poker online last night and I started the game with 10,10. I immediately raised to 80 chips.

Two guys called and the flop came down A,K,10. I checked and the next guy raised to 180, the other player folded and I re raised to 500.

He re-raised to 900 and I went all in and he called, both of us were now all in.

I showed 3 10s, he had J,3. (and no chance of a flush)Turn card was rubbish river card was Q. He apologisd and I said there was no need.

I got a "bad beat" after he made a terrible call but why was I not too bothered?

ps Not a trick question, I was out of the tournament in the second hand.

Is it because you'll win most of these hands anyway, statistically speaking?
That or it was a free tournament.

You're like the Rangers fans who inhabit this site, i.e., you have so much money that a few hundred pounds is chicken feed.

A self-made millionaire from Sevenoaks perhaps? Or a man so rich his wife can afford to spend two thousand pounds on shoes?

Then you are a decent player yourself obviously. In the long run you want people (or should I say "Fish") to call in these situations
