Baldock, if we sign him, because after our having spent a lot of money he will be given every chance to play whereas all the other strikers will get odd games or short sequences of games. If we don't sign Baldock then whichever expensive striker we do sign instead. Why "expensive"? Because to get someone who has a good chance of being better than BWP, Haynes or Cook will cost serious money and it would be stupid to sign another striker much on a par with them. If we don't sign another expensive striker, then Kermorgant will score most for the same reason. He will play in most games while the other strikers take turns. And if we spend our money on a powerful and creative midfielder in the Buzsaky mould instead of a striker, then Kermit could play further forward and would score more. I actually think that would be more cost-effective, because midfielders cost less than strikers, and we have plenty of the latter.
Bradders. And you also forgot Haynes who I think will step up over the season. Finished the season strongly and looked good from the welling highlights.
BWP will score most goals for you. Will be interested to hear what you make of Danny Haynes - at Ashton Gate he was quick and had ability but his attitude was all wrong - it was always about Danny Haynes not the team - maybe he's grown-up a bit now?
