I saw something claiming that Hazard was already as good as Messi or Ronaldo which is rubbish. He needs to be more consistent from performance to performance and he needs to be more lethal in front of goal to reach those levels. Excellent player most games though, I can't honestly give him my Mata treatment.
Very true, to reach their levels he needs to be mega consistent and score a lot more. These guys have been averaging a goal a game for a few years. But Hazard is a very fine player and he will only get better, as he is only 23!
By 23 Messi was the best player in the world by a decent stretch. Hazard will never be that good. He is a quality player, skillfull, very talented. No doubt he will have a brilliant career and could become one of the key players in the league, but he'll never be as good as Messi.
It's worth noting because he could actually do it. If Ozil was saying something like that, I doubt people would be mocking it here.
As TT says, the intent of the post was to mock the press. My point was, is it any point saying that he is aspiring to be like Messi and Ronaldo? They are the best players in the world and for any top player, the intent is to always to be the best. So really, this isn't news worthy. As for Hazard, he is a damn fine player and will only get better.

So you want me banned for offering an opinion? Personally don't rate him, he might have a fair few assists but those stats are distorted when you take every corner and free kick. As for the other part, yes we're having a poor season, but we'll be back winning trophies again
In fairness, since Christmas he's made one assist and scored no goals, and hasn't exactly been bossing the midfield either. He's in a slump right now.
Another Bale scenario, except Bale actually had one full brilliant season before the stupidity started. Hazard is flying atm but he's not even the best in the Premiership, never mind as good as Messi or Ronaldo
Ozil has lead the assists charts for most of the season and now sits second. He has also created more chances than any player in any Top European league this season. Despite him not always looking like he is working hard, he does a lot effortlessly. He has been a little off the pace in his last few games but he has been performing to a high standard all season.
I'm pretty sure I heard the commentator say it during the game yesterday, will have to check the stats
