    Ouch, that's got to hurt if you're a spurs fan.

    But to be honest, it would be consistent with his behaviour so far. He ditched the project at Southampton to joins Spurs and clearly sees them as a stepping stone to a job at one of the big clubs.

    If there was a French league, it might be an attraction. But, there isn't, where's the challenge in that?

    He won't be going anywhere just yet, I wouldn't have thought. He's inherited/built the perfect squad for his style of football, and unless the chairman starts selling players out from under him I'd imagine he'd want to see how far he can go with the squad he's got.

    Being a Saint fan, I'd love to have seen the conniving Argie git fail spectaculary at tottenham; but he was never going to fail so long as Levy kept faith in him. Which so far he has.

    At one point this season he was a Spurs fan. He's Leicester now and will be until at least early September.
