He was an embarrassment in his interview - he played the “we were the superior team and we played some brilliant football” line but forget to mention 75% possession translated into 1 save for Phillips. He also failed to blame the ref for not buying Bennett’s blatant cheating dive in stoppage time.
What a sullen little sod he was. Like a spoilt little brat who'd had his balloon burst. All we needed were the flood tears to go with it. Looks like they're destined for the playoffs to me - I'd love to meet them again this season, either twice or even just the once.
The bit that gets me is everyone bangs on about Ayew being one of if not THE best player in the division. I'll happily admit he looked pretty effective against us and caused a few issues, though he was predominantly up against Brown who's barely got rid of his training wheels at Championship level, but, for a reported £82k a week, wouldn't you think he'd be doing a hell of a lot more? The commentator at one point said that he could easily have gone elsewhere but made it his mission to try get Swansea back up.... I'd suspect that it's more to do with no-one else wants to pay him anywhere near that kind of ridiculous salary. As for Cooper. I haven't heard him moan about his team being 2nd best in games but somehow winning. Suck it up man, your lot may have been prettier than us in how you played but 1 shot on target tells it's own story! And yep, Bennett throwing himself to the ground and screaming shows their true colours. Happy to cheat and dive their way to results. I thought they were going down easily all over the pitch from very early on. I'm honestly not convinced we deserved to win on the balance of play but for sheer guts, determination and passion then we were hands down winners!
Swansea probably in all reality a League 1 sized club are 3rd. Their comedy fan base have a significant number calling for his head. They really are the dullest fan base in the world.
As a contrast, Dean Ashton on Quest EFL praised Moore for his honesty in staying on his feet from Woodman's challenge before Moore had his tame shot cleared. If he had gone down, Woodman as last man would have seen red and the Jacks would have been down to 10 men. Now if that had been Ayew, sniper head shot from 30 yards............

Ryan Bennett tried to cheat us by diving in injury time. You could hear his scream 50 miles away. Feckin pathetic. Refs now know what they are about. Its not just the diving its the screaming. Ayew and Roberts are both screamers. Bennett I think overtakes both.
Prediction - Plug needs to beat Watford away in their last game of the season to stay in the playoffs............
