Reporting record losses of 14 million the following statement was made in reference to Derek McInnes:

""Manager Derek McInnes has a firm focus on results on the pitch but is equally aware of the financial demands of FFP on the club, and this rounded understanding and determination can only help us in our ultimate aims."

Firm focus on WHAT? Give me a break.

He's struggling, but this news shows something that many of us have believed for a while.

The club is basically broke. We have no funding and therefore cannot afford new players or a new manager. The reason we cleared out so many players wasn't for footballing reasons, but because we'd be in deep **** if we had that many players. I think McInnes came in and said that spending a bit more money would safeguard us, but that's not been the case because we're in the same position as before, with a manager that doesn't appear to be the finished article we were hoping him to be.

It's for this reason why we need to simply trust McInnes with footballing matters and for the club to show their support for the team. The board need to work hard to put all possible pressure on getting the stadium built, and for this whole situation to be solved within the next six months.

Frankly, I think we should start building right now. If we get our stadium within the next few years and get a decent sponsorship deal for it we could turn this nightmare into the beginning of a new era for the club.

Think transfers have been a big problem too - in recent years we've tended to make a loss on buying players, turning them into ****, and then selling them on for next to nothing.

Hopefully the development of the Academy will start developing better players who can be sold on to better teams in the future - recently we seem to be a feeding club to Clevedon, Weston-Super-Mare and Yeovil (in they're lucky) football teams.

I you check the business plan for Ashton Vale there is no guarantee it will cover current loses. You cannot check it anyway, as nobody actually knows how the build will be financed, who exactly the buisness partners are, and who will profit from all on site assets and created revenues.

Why would anyone bankroll us - a L1 outfit, give us a 30k seater stadium for our 15k fickle fans to spout their venom at the under-achieving over-paid nancies for not beating everyone 3-0 every week?
There is a cancer here and it will take years to cure - if at all.

The club is "broke(n)" Ender but that has been the case for a few years now.

Luckily, we have a rich benefactor who is a staunch City fan so whilst his benevolence continues, we are spared bankruptcy

That said, considering some of the stick he is getting on this (and doubtless other) boards, I am just very grateful that he doesn't turn round and say "**** you" as we are finished in anything resembling our current form so....,

    BE NICE...!!!

We can't afford any players? we bought 2 strikers worth 2.25 Million, + a few more players so it's worth about £2,7M at a guess. Spending more on wages then ever, we arn't only ****e but we're going bust iswell.. brilliant

Don't see that many giving him stick, just the truth in wasting lot's of money on poor decision making. WHY SHOULD WE BE GRATEFUL?
