Enough!!! I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!!! Our owners have turned us in to a disgrace, a laughing stock, a joke of a Football club. CMS going to Brighton!!! Can't keep Derry and Hill!!! No new signings for the hard season ahead!!!!! **** ME WHAT A JOKE!! I don't know about you guys but i've realy had enough of this ****! rrrrrrrrrs, Has just posted this I feel that it is not being taken seriously he speaks for me and probably all R's fans ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We as must do something say something I really don't know what but we must let these joke parasite owners know that we as fans are hurting and we will not stand for it. We also need to let Neal Warnock know that we need him too it's the least we can do. Be it a petition or bombarding the club with emails and letters of support and bombarding the social media etc, etc MUCH MORE than whats already happening. One of you out there must be good at this sort of thing and get it started , I'm not handy with this and living in the Netherlands so it just is not practical. Come on guys lets get the ball rolling there is no time to waste.
Green and white scarves, Indian flags and... Barry Fry? If things go on like they have been, by the time the season starts protest will take its own course. Trust me, every Rangers fan is feeling the same way and it's getting worse by the week. QPR1ST and the Loyal Supporters Association have been meeting to consider plans of action... We on this board have proposed those who can afford to get to games do so wearing a green a white scarf (our original colours - like Man U's green and yellow protest). If the Mittals are still in the mix, we've also proposed carrying and flying Indian flags for the benefit of the cameras.
Flanman, the petiton I put up at the end of May about Saksena and Bhatia being re-appointed etc.. gathered 350 signatures. While I'm grateful to everyone who signed, it will hardly make the current board re-consider anything. The green and white scarves should be pushed as the most likely avenue unless someone can suggest anything better.
The petition went before 606 finished Roller. Any chance of getting it back up so Flanman and the others get a chance to sign it?
Sure thing mate, but I'm sure it was posted on 606 as well as "We are the Rangers Boys", but the link is http://www.petitiononline.co.uk/petition/disgusted-at-qpr-board/2902
Cheers, Roller & Brixton I signed it and put the petition link on twitter hopefully we will alot more signatures, we just have keep posting it every day.
As I said yesterday, there is one way to show your feelings are do not go to the first match v Bolton! If the ground is more empty then full that will hurt! Just like the glass is half full or half !! The only thing they understand is making or losing money and so if you do not go to the game, they lose money! Simple as that , but have all the fans the guts to do that and to be strong!! In myview, NO sorry but people are weak. Now I wait for the remarks to come ,if any?
Sorry James, I'm not missing our first game for 15 years in the Premership. Supporting the team has nothing to do with what is happening upstairs in the boardroom.
They'll fill up our small ground with third party spectators, James. Which is pretty much what the Goons are about anyway - they deal with customers at the gate, not fans. If this farce continues into the season, and the team has a bad start, fans can and will make their feelings for the owners felt such that the goons won't want to come to games...and then they may be more receptive to a buy out
What has the Manchester United supporterâs campaign achieved? Nothing has changed and the Glazier family are still the owners and are still taking big chunks of cash out of the club. It hasnât stopped Utd winning the league again and also getting to another Champions League final. Owners donât pay any attention to supporters and if we all start to wear green and white scarves the only winners will be the people selling them. Letâs face it, until the current owners get the money they want for the club we will have to put up with them. Iâve just done over £600 on a season ticket so I canât afford to take part in a symbolic protest and rip it up or burn it (melt it?). Sadly we are going to have to stay tuned to all the usual sites and wait for something resembling good news. Donât forget WE are QPR, not the owners, and we will be around for a lot longer. Up The Râs!!!
Must agree with James this is the only way to hurt these people, they do not give a flying fcuk about our club/team. They are hurting every man woman and child that support Rangers not to mention any future supporters who won't want to be part of a joke club. It may sound easy to say it from Holland, I can assure it's not, I was going to buy a season ticket this year knowing that I could at best make 8-9 matches a couple of friends were going to share the remainder games, but I cannot bring myself to go to the ground knowing that these people are there. Now I won't even see my usual 4/5 matches a season, If and when they leave I will come back and support my team as often as possible
Tut tut. Its not the players fault we're owned by clowns, If we all took this action and LR was empty every week we'd probably get relegated with 0 points. Not good for anyone.
There's an interesting debate to be had about what fans can achieve, Grove, and I'm not going to engage right now because I want to go and get something to eat! What I would say briefly is that Newcastle fans damn nearly got Ashley out - what stopped them and what Newcastle have in common with Manu in this respect, is success. Both clubs have done well under the owners and the revolt has died a death. I dare say the same would happen at QPR with the Goons if we found ourselves firmly ensconced in the top half of the table after Xmas - but is that likely to happen. I don't think so. So the examples of those two clubs don't apply. I suspect that both the Goons have pretty thin skins for all their brave talk - and fans can and will influence them if the debacle continues into the new season.
Bakes, I am not blaming the players and actually my heart goes out to them because if it carries on with this regime do you honestly think we have got snow balls chance of survival, in fact this could turn into an embarrassment of a season and these players will need to pick themselves up after failure. So the way I see it if things do not change we have little chance of competing next season for the few months that NW will be in charge, he and the players deserve better, we all know the facts that on paper this could be the start of a great era for the R's, but sadly it probably will turn into another episode QPEnders. Unless you think it will get better when we have a Flav manager with Flav picking the team? Not to mention what type of transfers he will get in!! This is not good for anyone, but at this moment in time it looks odd's on to happen. To be honest I really am starting to give up before we have started.
There is nothing to be gained from boycotting home games. If, like NUFC and Man U, we are successful on the pitch, there's nothing to protest about. Our concern is that the Goons have screwed us big time. If that proves to be the case as the season gets underway, I can see them green and white scarves of protest increasing in number. The cameras will pick up on the discontent and the media will follow through with exposees etc. and leave few in any doubt of the reasons for it. Job done as far as disrepute is concerned. The owners will find themselves under the same kind of pressure as Ashley - and that'll do nothing to improve or maintain stock value... without success their card's well and truly marked.
And what will that achieve, you just dont stop going, 15 years ive been waiting and im not going to allow Tango & Cash to spoil it for me.
