Been up since 5am and today has felt like 4 days. Anyone else wishes Sunday would hurry the **** up and come?
Yes and no. Felt dreadful the entire morning before stoke game cos of nerves. But at the same time am desperate to know the fate of what's going to happen next season. Agony or ecstasy. Either way, gonna involve a few beers
I'm away with the missus in deepest Cambridgeshire for a long weekend, I'll have to make sure I can get a wi-fi signal if there isn't a local pub showing it. Didn't choose the right weekend for this...
I havent been able to concentrate at work properly all week. Friends have told me its only a game, but they dont understand! I felt sick all the way through the Stoke game and god knows how im going to feel on Sunday! I thought it was just me being stupid and over the top!
When Sooper says he didn't choose the right weekend, what he means is the missus decided on this weekend and he had no say in it!
I'm going to a wedding I was so pleased originally that it wasn't last weekend....and now I'm really REALLY glad it wasn't last weekend
Me too. Been letting English Stag-Parties out the Cab without getting the fare! Hurry up Sunday, be done and be dusted with ya
For me it's very reminiscent to last season, in so much as the waiting to reveal our fate. Different scenario but that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach is the same. I just can't wait until it's done so we can celebrate again.
I hope you don't lose focus on your job Nines, or there'll be plenty of burnt arses in Surrey this week!!
Well if I had to guess what you did Swords it certainly wouldn't be a cab driver! I would have guessed something to do with law!
I'm always professional Swords, and although I live in Surrey I work in London. Had anyone famous in the back of your cab?
Never has an "in your own hands" situation felt more in the hands of others, err except maybe last year. I feel remarkably at peace with it all. Busying myself with an intense duo of running and electricing a big refurb, plus fitting a new kitchen at home. Minimal sleep and maximal coffee. I find myself closing my eyes and picturing the scene at the etihad at the final whistle and all I see is celebration all round.
Welcs, I'd rather travel to your place anyday than Bolton. Not that I have anything against Bolton, just always liked Loftus Road. Good luck anyway.
