`Tis a big, big game´ for us too In the words of Martin O´Neill, Where a win would almost see us through To the points where our place it was sealed But wins have been in short supply Although points have been coming in, With our form from the last six ties Four draws and an Everton win And I guess a draw here again Would suit us more than it would you, As both our teams look not to end Down in the relegation queue But I must admit I´d not seen Your lot being down quite this low, So what´s been going on in between The games where you put on a show And what of your January recruit Mr. Graham, I ask because, When against us and when he shoots Then sadly he generally scores But I noticed he´s still to find The net since returning your way, So I´m sure that we wouldn´t mind If he continued that on Sunday And last year´s 0 - 3 on your patch I remember well as a game, Where we were totally outmatched And came home with our heads in shame So if we could avoid a repeat Of that quite forgettable day, And perhaps too, keep a clean sheet Then who knows what might come our way. Hoping for a good, free-flowing game, but under the circumstances expect it to be a bit cagey, and probably tight, finding it hard to see past a draw I must admit. All the best
Nice one mate I pray for a repeat of last year's game! Atmosphere will be very tense, a good start for either side will be crucial. We, however have grown into the habit of starting like dog **** then playing well in the second half (you'll remember from earlier this season...) If we get an early goal, i.e within first 20 minutes I think we should win, provided the goal was the opening goal. In reality that probably won't happen, though, this game will be very tight. I'm not ****ed about how we play, we can have only 1 shot for all I care as long as we win.
Yep, I remember the home game against you, you were like chalk and cheese, actually you very nearly came away with a draw. What kind of reception do you think Hughton will get as an ex- Toony?
The way our team are playing A lot of Mackems are saying We take what ever we can We have no other plan, As for this player DG A Geordie by choice is he We haven't seen much of him to cheer But he scores for us I'd get him a beer.
We would have if Kilgallon didn't miss an open goal Not a friendly one, I'm sure! Probably just be restricted to jeers as he comes out the tunnel
might nip over to their board to wish the team a large dose of the galloping gutrot come sunday morning
the ****e is to hit a new hieght with all the doom and gloom the fa says in such a case we can play both mig and poom
I know it´s a different siuation, but I don´t remember him getting much flak from your away lads when we met earlier in the season., and you´re right Safc, he does come across as being very respectable.
