every sympathy with the Liverpool fans but can we also carry on the chant with words to the effect of justice for the mansfield, lincoln, huddersfield and millwall city fans wrongly prosecuted whilst the guilty live to FIGHT another day?
ah .. a couple of "old school" CI punks it seems ... sums up the stereotype of that board perfectly ... This is about what is the biggest police cover up in history by fact .. not about which club and what .. rise above the tribal crap you grew up with and look at the bigger picture .. the police and government hid this for so long and its testament to those who fought for 23 yrs to find out what we all now know .. its partly football .. but more so in my eyes its about the fact the small minority can actually fight for what they believe to be right and be proved so ... if we no longer have that in our lives .. then what do we have ?
and as for the ****ing police ... guess they don't know about when not to say something http://i49.tinypic.com/eufpxd.jpg
ffs we ALL knew it was a ****ing coverup. how much you wanna bet that terracing comes back to english grounds now.
In judging others, does it never occur to you that you also exhibit stereotypical behaviour? I'm thinking humourless, embittered and with a peevish ego in this instance. Just a thought.
yeah .. haven't you followed this story because its outside the boundries of hull ? my word you need to broaden your horizons a little .. actually pay attention to stories that go on away from our little club and area .. you will be enlightened Im sure, hell even EGD seems to know more than you and is saying pretty much the same as I am (which I never thought he would) ... I think you best go back to your own little board to be educated a little
I simply don't care .. I posted a simple link asking people to join .. if I saw someone post a link that I did not care for then I would ignore .. not make a point of showing how small minded I am in my own little "hull" circle as if the rest of the world does not matter ... I actually find it quite funny that these two are regular old posters from the other board and actually have proved what I thought about them right ... quite sad really
for 23 yrs 96 sets of families and friends have been told they are liers ... now they are being told they were right .. that's the facts .. that's all that matters , now wake up and stop being pigheaded and show some support to these people ..
for me its a none football thing ... its a disgraceful injustice that has come out , as I said from the outset this is not about football .. I remember seeing those scenes as a 10 year old wondering what the **** was going on .. this is simply showing those that fought for so long about what they believe in that people support them now and feel for the heartache and pain they have all gone through .. but I wouldn't expect you would understand that
You're going to spell the word written like that, then call someone a muppet? Dear lord.. Who mentioned Millwall at the top btw?! Haha
You don't give a fook about 96 dead people? Wow.. Not a lot of charities and things of that nature resonate with me, but as a football fan, i've experienced the feel of togetherness in the stands, and the mere thought of watching 96 people die, attending a football match, makes my blood run cold. I feel bad for you if you feel nothing at all..
I hope people don't sing this on saturday. 1- Their families have finally got what they want & now it's time for them to mourn their deceased loved ones in private. It's time for everyone to move on. 2- It's a Liverpool song & i've gone to watch City. So it's nowt to do with us anyway.
Just a quick point...... Why does this tragic event (and I do honestly have the deepest sympathy) have the god given right to more coverage than any other miscarage of justice? That been my whole argument all along. Many worse things have happened in the 23 years that followed this, worse tradgedies, worse injustices. I honestly don't understand why this has peoples attention. It smacks of the type of weirdo's who go lay flowers at the side of a road when they have no connection to the victim just in the hope of getting on TV or the paper. A verdict has been reached, why can't people just leave it be now.
Sorry to all who died and their families but they got what they wanted now everyone needs to leave it. No offence but I am getting bored of hearing it now, its on every football site every news channel.... We should NOT sing this on Saturday, let them rest in peace!
If the Liverpool fans insisted that all fans sing it on Saturday then fair enough, but at the moment they haven't, and it's something that's relevant and significant to them, nobody else. I'm glad that the families have found out what they've been trying to for the last 20 odd years, let the 96 be mourned.
