Was not expecting that. I think that performance can blow the media myth that our players own the club and every player hates each other etc. The players fought for the badge today and I am proud to be a Blue.

We've got nothing to lose now, it will be tough but if we do our best anything's possible.

No disrespect but I am hoping for Apoel or maybe Marseille.

Anyone but Real or Bayern will do me fine.:emoticon-0103-cool:

DL --still celebrating! Reckon we always raise our game against class--so perhaps Apoel might not be the right ones in the next draw.

I'm with you on that, but I also hope we get the same referee !! Can't remember the last time we got a fair go by a ref in a CL match. He made a few balls ups , but seems to me it went both ways fairly evenly. Nice change.

Exactly, he had a mare in extra time but at least he was consistent, that's all we ask for a fair shout <ok>

No APOEL are poor, then again after Monaco nothing would surprise me.

I'd rather go APOEL simply because we've been there before recently

No, but we would stand a better chance against them over 2 legs than one <ok>

Interesting D.L. I'd rather have them over 1 leg myself on neutral ground then have to play them twice. On 'any given sunday' and all that...

No, Barca know how to win one-off games, that's why as good as they are Real can't beat them. In a 2 legged affair where the dynamics change depending on the scoreline and away goals etc I'd fancy our chances a lot more.

Defensively Barca are nowhere near as good as they have been in previous years and I'm sure we could score at the Nou Camp, something we couldn't do 3 years ago because Barca were defensively too good.

i can not see us getting passed either of the spanish sides, they are both very good and even if we play to our best it seems we have to contend with their diabolical cheating and their 12th man.

I reckon you stand a better chance in the final against either Spanish team than over two legs. Surely it must be easier to be better than them once than it is twice?

Any draw will be tough. These teams aren't in the last 8 for nothing.
Complacency is the enemy. Ask the mancs.

And we can get to the final for the same reason. Perhaps we will be underestimated?? Perhaps for once we will get the luck?? Perhaps its better to come into form at the business end.

This season looks better than it did after West Brom that's for sure.
