Let's see where we are at the end of January first ffs. City fans go from one extreme to the other very quickly. After Leeds it was "we're the greatest team in the world" now it's doom and gloom, and i bet if we lose against Peterborough and Barnsley in the cup it'll be "Bruce out" from some cretins.
Have to agree, I can't see us catching Cardiff and I can also see Leicester storming on. 3rd for us. Random thought, are the playoffs always 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th, or is there some sort of draw that I've never paid attention to?
always like that, supposed to be your reward for finishing highest, you get the so called easier tie, but never really works out like that..
I still don't see why everybody's ****ing themselves off over Leicester. They won't go up with flat top in charge.
Last game of the season will be a Cardiff-HCAFC celebration party. Cheer up abnd keep the faith you miserable pessimistic bastards!
I laugh at the prediction of us finishing 4th almost as much as the Hull fans do. Its not gonna happen with Colin there
Our entire season is in the balance in my Opinion, I have no doubt we will bring in a decent goalkeeper because well, we have to. But can we replace Elmo and bring in someone to score some goals? Time will tell. If not it will be play-off's which is no great shame.
They're doing well but I find it a bit naiive that people are just following current form. I'm not saying they won't go up but isn't it a bit obvious to say that the team who are currently scoring for fun will do well and those who are losing will continue to lose. It doesn't work like that. Form changes. This is it. Doesn't matter when we win our games just that we win enough. Our season is in the balance though, the next three weeks will give us a big clue to where this season is going.
It's not that they don't have the players, they've been inconsistent this season. They've been on a good run, like we did in December, but they aren't going to win every game between now and the end of the season so it's up to us whether we can force them to miss out.
