We need a Michael Brown type player and play ugly in our remaining games. Get stuck in (not to the extent of getting sent-off) and give teams a tough time. We've given teams to much respect and freedom up until now.

I thought M'Bia and Diakite were brought in to carry out the enforcer type role. And to an extent Derry. Hasn't really worked up until now has it? Hopefully Harry has found a balance in the team to continue the rest of the season so we can progress and get the points we need to stay up. If not, then I'm afraid we're doomed.

HUZZAH! A football thread.. I feel obliged to engage. Your totally wrong Stamford.. as sb says. We've played, scared, ugly crap football all season. I say go for it. Play with freedom and skill, with width and audacity.. we have nothing to lose by having a bloody go.. take on all comers. Let's start Saturday..

Wow I hope you are as quick when you are match fishing as you were with that bite! Impressive! I guess the sleeves are still hanging loose on that jacket of yours!

We've played minging/munter football so far.

Perhaps "ugly" was the wrong word - rough (not dirty) football!

Don't think there are too many teams in the PL who still play with a player like Brown in the midfield. Watching me vs. City at the weekend demonstrated why: absolute thug with little or no skill to speak off. Would rather do without a player like that.

Funnily enough, saw Brown at a garage in Staffordshire few weeks ago giving the attendant a load of crap for some reason - he was buying a king size twix (or perhaps it was a snickers) and a bottle of coke!
