This is a lengthy one but it's a well-written piece about HunSungate from the Scotslawthoughts guy (Paul McConville I believe he's called):
I read that this morning and McConville is 100% correct. Some people on here are as guilty of Ad Hominem attacks as the pack of animals who have threatened and bullied their way to having the Sun change it's mind. What a pathetic backward country this is that these creatures can pour out their sectarian hatred against an individual and be treated seriously. McConville has also posted the comments I posted yesterday, seems that these cretins don't do Irony, they are complaining about bigotry and hate when their minds are full of it. It's pretty ****ing sickening.
The thing that isn't really pulled out of this article is the hypocrisy of the Sun's editorial. "We are not bowing to internet bullies, etc, etc, we are not scared that the majority of our circulation is fans of one football team who will be beeling at all of this. We feel a debt of gratitude in these times of declining circulation to our LOYAL readership. It's because this author, in a satirical piece of nonsense, has been tarred with the brush of sectarianism. Anyway, on the anniversary of our serialisation of Johnny Adair's book in 2007, here's this week's Andy Goram column"
Spot the difference "We knew he was a controversial figure" " the author — previously unbeknown to us"
