Hands up if your team is in the same form as Man City :emoticon-0128-hi:

I don't think we're quite hitting teams for 4,5 and 6 on a regular basis

Does anyone actually know what the best winning run in this division is? I can't remember anyone else getting 9 in a row. Incidentally, when's MOTM announced? Surely that has to be when it ends?

Reading got 10 in 2006 but I think United got 14 once upon a time.

So, beat Watford then... Couldn't be a better team to potentially get the result against, although I have started predicting us to lose since a few games back because I can't believe this run can continue.

Yeah, according to wikipedia, Man Utd, Bristol City and Preston recorded 14 straight second-flight wins, but they were all ages ago (1904-05, 1905-06 and 1950-1 respectively).

So, in the age when half the teams in the second division were still playing in the local park?

One more win and we will have surpassed our total points for last season ... now that is a phenomenal stat is it not? ...

Yes - and I understand Kevin Phillips was playing for Preston during their run. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You are playing some cracking football and if your form carries on i think you won't be far off 100 points.

I'd love to see us get the 106 record. Won't happen, but it'd be amazing.

You've jinxed it now, they beat Brighton 2-0 yesterday!

As long as we finish 1 point above 3rd, i don't mind how many it is <ok>

Had a look and since the Championship was founded in 2004, the longest winning streak was 10 games by Reading in 2005-06.

Longest unbeaten run was 33 games by Reading in 2005-06 as well.

They definitely earned their 106 points that season!

I'm still not betting against Reading getting some serious surge soon, they have form after all. We've still got to play at the Madejski Stadium (I'm starting to look at which games I think we can lose at this point in time).

It's quite funny how we, as football fans, view / analyse things ... Reading are currently 19 points behind us having played the same games ... they also face trips to QPR, Brighton, Leeds and Wigan and will host us, Burnley, Derby, Middlesb'ro and Huddersfield ...

For any surge to cause damage to our automatic promotion hopes (given the above) a Reading surge would need to be extraordinary ... but would also cause enormous damage to those nearest us with the exception of Forest...

Chill bro ... this Leicester squad has all the necessary factors to promote confidence against implosion ... and I suspect our rivals will be cutting each other's throats in terms of the 'pursuit' ...

It would be amazing if we can continue this form and have promotion wrapped up in march.
How nice to have the luxury of sitting back and watching the other promotion rivals battle and slog it out to the end and look forward to the World Cup.

    I can dream!!!
