So now we have a Lib Dem MP meeting with Harvey to discuss FL rules!! WTF is going on? This Mulholland bloke is urging the FL to make sure they are jumping through the strictest of hoops before passing Cellino's buyout of the club. Why?

There can only be one reason ... he is mates with Flowers and the other Leeds-based potential buyers of the club. This is not good, as it seems there is a move afoot to derail Cellino's bid to buy the club.

The worrying thing is that Harvey took time to meet Mulholland and discuss the Cellino process, yet can't find the time to speak to the press or Cellino himself. Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West said, "We all have an interest in making sure that people who become owners and directors of football clubs are appropriate." So where were you, Mr MP, when Bates was raping our club!

Harvey wrote in a letter to Mulholland, "We recognise that the uncertainty caused for the fans of Leeds at this time is disturbing for many of them. However, we need to ensure we make the correct decision based on the facts as known, against the backdrop of our own rules, which we will adhere to at all times." Really? Like when the green light was given to Jueng to take over Brum, or allowing that lunatic Tan into Cardiff?

It is in bad taste to use a Leeds MP to now put pressure on the FL in an attempt to thwart Cellino. Mulholland wouldn't be speaking to Harvey if he wanted Cellino in. Whether its Flowers or Farnan behind this (or both), its not what is needed right now, and not playing out in the media either. This is just diabolical ... almost as diabolical as Harvey being CEO of the Football League, the same man who oversaw the systematic theft from our club by Bates.

Fit and proper? You're having a laugh, in'tcha?

You saved me a lot of typing. Cannot understand how Bates and GFH passed their mickey mouse tests but Cellino can't. I wonder if Cellino was British like Haigh and Bates, would the fl league be as fussy?

Maybe if Cellino didn't have previous for false accounting (as a football club owner), corruption, and impending cases for tax evasion and fraud it might be a much smoother passage <whistle>

Almost everything against Cellino is what most would call technicalities,He just doesn't seem to know the cons that the rich use, maybe the MP can arrange a meeting with David Cameron who could tell him how the Tories avoid paying tax and claiming millions in expenses which they sell on for more profit.

Shouldn't Shaun Harvey recuse himself from this process?

    I don't, do you?

I asked a question of fact, not a question of whether he had acted appropriately which might have been "Shouldn't Shaun Harvey have recused himself from this process?"

There must be a pro Leeds Utd journo who could put all this facts regarding all these other dodgy owners passing the f and p test and putting it to the FL and also saying that S.Harvey has a conflict of interests and shouldn't be involved in these investigations regarding Cellino.

I wonder ... is Harvey pushing Leeds into administration to help "someone" buy the club on the cheap?
