Playing Football Manager 2011

I have started a new FM game on an unofficial database with updated squads.

Here are my sales/signings/squad/tactics. Just thought I would share

Sold - Kuszczak, Gibson, Obertan, Park, Owen, Diouf and Berbatov

Signed - Alex Sandro, Hamsik, Douglas Costa, Sissoko and Mata

Trained Rooney as an AMC and going to use Jones as a ball winning CM

Have 2 tactics - a 4-2-3-1 for home games and easier away games, and a 4-5-1 for away games and harder teams.

Downloaded it from the Neoseeker forums. It's the MUF (insert joke here) database

 

Beat City twice in a row. 1-0 in the Community Shield and 4-0 in the League. It would be nice if that happened in real life next season.

 

Park has always been fantastic for me in FM whatever edition I've played.

 

I had to sell him because he didn't fit with how I wanted to play. It was an agonising decision because I love the wee Korean workhorse.

 

what season are you in? i found there werent as many good regens as in past games

 

I only started late last night so I only played 2 competitive games against ****ty.

I other saves I have noticed that though. On FM 2010 I found a lot of quality regens and it got to the point where my squad was far too big and full of world class players because I just kept signing them.

 

Haha that is so true! I just have to buy anyone that my scouts recommend and in the end I can't play all the stars.

 

is it just united or prem or what?

 

He is doing an update for the whole game so it will be all major leagues and English and Scottish lower leagues

rooney is a whining bitch tho and has wanted to leave for the past 18 months because i fined him. hes stil performing well though and scored winners in the fa cup final and champs league final last season so ill make him stay

 

That's a good team. Where's Hernandez though, I have found him a beast of a player as a poacher. Train him to place his shots and run through the middle though. Cash in on Rooney and use the money to sign someone who wants to play.

 

hes on the bench..ive gotten a bit impatient with him..he starts the season well but then does **** from october onwards. his record for mexico is insane though..he's pretty much 1 for 1..something like 45 goals in 46 games
