I'm sitting at home working on a promotion application for work. I've got some music on in the background and I've just done something I haven't done for years - played an album all the way through, start to finish. It got me thinking - anything to avoid doing this application - how do people normally listen to their music? Does everybody do the same thing as me and just stick the iPod on shuffle and let it crack on?
indeed...certainly an album to play all the way through..depends really as I do shuffle the i-pod but also listen to whole albums - but when doing this the album songs are on shuffle
There are very few albums I can listen to all the way through. Most have at least a couple of crap tracks on them. 'The Stone Roses' is one of the few exceptions.
I always listen to albums the whole way through in the order they were intended although i might skip the odd bad song. Shuffle is irritating and for people with short attention spans.
Shuffle is a means to an end. I work shifts, I'm always busy on my days off and have two kids, so end up with very little time to sit down and listen to an album all the way through. I certainly don't have a short atten..........thingy.
Sometimes it is required to listen to the whole album in order for it to make sense, like the album of a progressive music style, so I have done it many a time with bands like Dream Theater and Queensryche etc
Nah, I got me best clothes on today. Dont want to get it messy as its gotta last a ****ing month before I can be bothered to dry clean it
