I was wondering who you would keep in our starting 11 next season....

This is who I would keep:

    Gordon
    ??.....Brown......O'Shea...???

    ???.....Colback...???.....McClean

    ...........????.......????..........

Seriosuly there the only players I would keep for my starting 11. If we could not get a RB suppose Bardo would do.

Notice no Sess.....give me 20mill he would be gone. Rather build a new team with a formation that works - Sess does not fit any formation O'Neill likes.

I can see what you mean about Sess and you could well be right about him leaving, just hope you are wrong. Been a long time waiting for a player like Sess and it will feel like a step backwards if we lose him.

I would still like to see Westwood given a chance in goal, he was very impressive in the short stint he had.

I like the O'Shea,Brown combo but I worry about their injury record.

It's also a concern about Mclean, I hope we find some cover for him because we forget how new he is and I would hate to see him burnt out.

If you think Mon will bring minimum of 6 players in that will go straight into his first 11 you are kidding yourself, and to limit it to a starting 11 is silly, our main downfall this season is lack of depth in squad so when you have to look at who you would keep you have to expand it to a 25 man squad. I also find it strange that in a season when our defence has stood up to the task ( we have conceded less than 2 of the top 5 teams this season , including our neighbours ) that you only include 2 defenders including 1 who has missed about a 3rd of the season and a goalkeeper who has made 1 start. I think MON will bring in at most 3-4 players who will walk straight into the first 11 then a couple of players who will strengthen the bench. As MON has already stated 2 x C/F are a must a genuine L/B something we have never had for many a year and an attacking creative M/F. We really are not that far away from having a squad good enough to push for a top 6 - 8 next year

Think everyone is forgetting how important larsson has been this season. We've been crying out gorgeous a midfielder who can score for years. He was the only player who turned up before O'Neill came in. I agree that we need another pacier option as competition but Seb would still be in my 11

Mignolet, Brown or O'Shea (not both as for me they are not reliable do to injury), Colback, Sessegnon, McClean

Not sure about the gorgeous bit, but Seb has been a key performer for me. Having a potent free kick taker is much underrated and he is the first one we have had for years. Whatever happens we need somebody of his dead ball ability next season.

i think the westwood in goal bit is a bit daft tbh ming has been improving every game and he's becoming a fantastic keeper and he will only get better.
