    Good stuff CJS.

Thought Smithy was fantastic tonight. Wonder how long before the scouts come a sniffing?

The way Ward got the lads playing and how he got their confidence up, I can see a few players on other clubs radar.

Mildenhall, McChrystal and O'Toole will be very hard to re-sign as they all can easily play league 1 level.

Woodards, Smith (i think our most improved player from last season), Norburn and Clucas (before his injury) are all capable of playing higher level as well and we will do well to hold on to these as well.

Looks like we will be safe, so hopefully we can sign up the most important person and that Ward. If we can retain him, then the summer should be very interesting with signings. Every signing he has made have so far worked out. Not seen much of Tounkara or Mcdonald but thats because the team are playing so well that they havent really had a chance to show what they can offer.

If Ward can keep the loan players and the bulk of his current squad and get them all believing like he has done so far then next season should be interesting <ok>

Good to see not only Harrison playing well, but Lockyer and Harding getting match time.
    Youngsters not letting anyone down.

Good result Port Vale resorted to kicking our players in the last 20 mins.

Mainly a lump it high in the air, hit em hard type of team, absolutely no finesse, you can see they are low in confidence and why they are on a losing streak should have punished us a couple of times but failed at every opportunity.

How did Brunt miss that open goal he will replay that one in his head a few times over the next few days. l034.gif

Hope that Norburn is ok as he picked up an injury.

My major concern is our strength in depth as when Richards and Norburn went off JJ and Brunty were isolated as the new boys Lockyer Harding and Tom struggled to impose themselves,we lost shape at a time when PV turned up the heat pressed us high up the field competed for every ball and really should have scored.Def new boys not ready for this level of football although worked hard for the cause.

As for Ellis he is going to be a good footballer, needs more matches beefing up so he can shrug off defenders and tackle when required, great to watch him torment the PV players.

As for the 18 Morsy almost lost his head against JJ who walked away from the confrontation deserved his booking possibly should have picked up another card as he squared up to JJ handbags at 15 paces classic.
