What do you think about players who are happy to sell tickets they get onto ticket touts , and they get money for them? It seems a lot of players do this and get away with the profit. Would you like a City player selling the tickets the might get if we make the F.A Cup final?
Wasn't there some scandal over this a few years ago? Think the F.A. moniter players allocations a lot stricter because of it.
Not sure about now but in years gone by think it was a nice little earner for them. Seem to remember the FA did trace tickets years ago after an outcry, and when they found out who one of the famous ones was they didnt go any further.
Bobby Charlton was banned from receiving Cup Final tickets (late 70's I believe) - tickets allotted to him somehow found their way into a touts hands, he was banned for awhile but I seem to recall an appeal based on he'd passed them on in good faith to a friend and they'd been sold on 3rd/4th hand to touts. I used to work with some old skool ManU types who even today despise the very mention of his name.
