It should always be about what is best for the team. If he starts to deliver results then there is no reason to still want him gone - unless its personal and not about what is best for the club. That said, it takes a hell of a lot more than 2 wins to count as delivering results. It is a step in the right direction though, and I think whether he still has the dressing room should be a major consideration to be taken into account.

Nothing. He has had long enough here now and needs to f** off but that interview he did with Sky post match summed it up as it was a guy knowing his job is totally secure no matter how bad it gets. It really is depressing beyond belief. Better managers with better records have lost their jobs these past few seasons and this pathetic c**t seems to think he is here on merit rather than the good old 'Jobs for the boys' mentality. His record for damn near two years bar some patches of victories have been f**ing abysmal.

To even think of winning back some of fan base he would honestly need to have an unbelievable season (which won't happen), win a cup (never in a f**ing million years) or at the very least beat those c**ts home and away in the derby this season (we know this sadly won't happen). Then again it doesn't matter, because Ashley bar a f**ing miracle will never sack him anyway.

My point of view will prob be in a minority, but assuming the players do still want Pards at the club and this isn't just lip service then I think he should stay. If the players like him, they are more likely to fight for him on the pitch. Not that you could tell a couple of games back mind.

For me he has to consistently (an ongoing-rolling 10 game assessment) put his money where his mouth is. And start playing attacking /fluid/ pacey /on the deck football (which he has always claimed was his way!), with the right formation for the team/players we have, and not the turgid shambolic dogs-dinner football we have been subject too since the top 5 finish (not blaming pardew for the lack of strengthening that occurred then). He also needs to be start and be seen to start putting the CLUB first ..and not himself, consistently

IF that happened and we competed (not expecting victories every week, to be top 4 or owt) I would be content-ish

But I do agree with BRS on many points, and personally feel he is out of his depth, inflexible and short-term ist. And with 2 wins in the last week or so, he is still batting at about a win every 2 months (since Xmas)..which just isnt good enough by any measure. There are MUCH better managers out there, that could be lured/conned to sip at the poison chalice that is NUFC. Managers that are progressive and flexible.
