To even things out at the bottom of the league should we let the three great clubs of Bristol City, Forest and Millwall have some of our players on loan for free for the rest of the season. I am sure that PoorOldPompey would see it as only fair as I am sure they would not want to have an unfair pecuniary advantage over other teams in the division in their relegation dogfight. Who would you suggest we loan to these three great clubs?
How about Lee Barnard to Bristol City for a start. Puncheon to Millwall he seemed to enjoy his time there and then Sharp to Forest as their work rate would surely get him fit.
Once promotion is secure lets give them Rickie, Lallana, Lee, Cork, Chaplow, Guly et al. The loan window is probably shut but I am sure they could follow Pompeys suit and get special privilages.
Don't want to lose Sharp or Puncheon...they'll be very much involved in our promotion push. I see Harlee Dean scored for Brentford yesterday.
Doesn't sound like much of an incentive to get us promoted early, if the players know their reward will be to go to Bristol City! Seriously, I agree that Lee Barnard needs to go on loan somewhere to get his sharpness back (see what I did there?).
