Players out of contract

I came across this on the bbc site, one of the names that caught my eye was Matthew Upson wasnt that long ago we were linked to him.John Carew and Marcus Bent are also the more notable names amongst the lists of players who are out of contract/available on a free.

Strangely enough i didnt see Joey Barton on it

 

If only Robbie Keane like Marcus Bent was out of contract a club with no money ie Norwich could have a strike-force that would make people laugh..it would be Keane and Bent. Its the reason why Asto Villa didn't sign Robbie Keane when they had Darren Bent and Ashley Young...their forward line would have been Young,Keane and Bent.

 

So many players now out of contract. It's just astonishing.

The suggested Free XI may well be able to hold their own against most opposition.

 

They however would have to manage with just 10 players if the side included Owen ''5 minutes of football in 3 years'' Hargreaves.
